My name is Ben Hoffman and I am a professional triathlete. Originally from Grand Junction, Colorado, I was first exposed to the sport at the University of Montana in Missoula and quickly rose to the top of the ranks at the collegiate level. Since then I have moved on to train in Boulder, Colorado, and Tucson, Arizona, two of the fitness meccas of the U.S. Here I have great swimmers, bikers, and runners to push me to the limits in each of the three triathlon disciplines. Since turning professional in 2007, I have earned Ironman, Half-Ironman, and National Champion victories. Follow me on my journey to the top of American long-distance triathlon.

RACING

Competition has always been a guiding force in my life, and it is the cornerstone for my success in the sport of triathlon. Just as the most elemental organisms compete for essentials in an environment with limited resources, I am competing for the limited resource of number one triathlete. At each event, the focus is on my race and the concept of “ideal execution” that is dependent only on my preparation and focus. Finishing first is important, but even more important is finishing first perfectly. Through intelligent, focused training, and unwavering commitment to success, I am pursuing my goal to be at the top of the sport.
